Dragon Capital Foreign Shareholders Sell Additional 2.5 Million HSG Shares

Dragon Capital Group's affiliate funds have sold 2.5 million HSG shares, reducing their ownership from 11.1% to 10.7% of the charter capital.

Recently, the Dragon Capital fund group reported changes in the ownership of related foreign investors who are major shareholders, investors holding 5% or more of the company’s shares.

Specifically, member funds: Wareham Group Limited; Hanoi Investments Holdings Limited and Vietnam Enterprise Investments Limited sold a total of 2.5 million shares of HSG from Hoa Sen Group Joint Stock Company (MCK: HSG, HoSE floor).

Changes in ownership of foreign investor group Dragon Capital.

After the transaction, the total ownership of the group of foreign shareholders decreased from nearly 68.5 million shares (equivalent to 11,1171%) to nearly 66 million shares (equivalent to 10,7113%).

Recently, the HSG code has continuously recorded transactions selling shares by Hoa Sen’s leaders.

Specifically, from March 7 to April 2, Mr. Tran Ngoc Chu – Permanent Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors – Executive has just sold 1.5 million HSG shares, reducing ownership from 1.78 million HSG shares (0.29% of charter capital), to 281,147 shares (0.046% of charter capital).

By April 17, Mr. Bui Thanh Tam – Administrative Manager had sold 390,900 HSG shares, reducing ownership from 390,964 shares (0.06% of charter capital), to 64 shares (0% of charter capital).

Hoa Sen Group also had changes in high-level personnel when Mr. Tran Quoc Tri was dismissed from the position of General Director and legal representative. Mr. Tran Quoc Tri is also not in charge of Hoa Sen Group’s branch – Hoa Sen Phu My Steel Factory.

After being dismissed, Mr. Tran Quoc Tri only held the position of non-executive member of the Board of Directors from April 12, 2024.

On the contrary, HSG elected Mr. Vu Van Thanh to the position of General Director and legal representative, effective from April 12.

It is known that Mr. Vu Van Thanh was born in 1966, currently holds the position of Deputy General Director and Deputy General Director in charge of marketing and communications.

From May 1, HSG also appointed Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Huy to the position of Deputy General Director from May 1; appointed Mr. Nguyen Le Manh Tung to the position of Acting Deputy General Director in charge of export; Mr. Nguyen Tan Hoa was appointed to the position of Deputy General Director in charge of industrial project development from May 1; Mr. Tran Dinh Tai was appointed to the position of Acting Deputy General Director in charge of marketing and communications from May 1; Mr. Pham Dinh was appointed to the position of Acting Deputy General Director in charge of supply from May 1.
