In the rankings, India – tops the world in terms of the number of cryptocurrency owners with 157.6 million people. “This shows a widespread shift towards digital financial solutions in the curry country,” quoted from the report by CryptoCrunchApp.

The United States ranks second with 44.3 million people, reflecting a significant acceptance rate of digital currency in a country where technology and finance innovations have deeply penetrated the culture.

The most surprising is Vietnam – with a population of over 100 million people – has 25.9 million cryptocurrency owners, ranking third in the world and surpassing China. “This signals Vietnam’s rapid acceptance capability and is also consistent with the country’s growth and technology acceptance rate in the S-shaped land,” quoted from the report.

Meanwhile, China, with its massive population, ranks fourth with 19.9 million cryptocurrency owners. This is still a relatively high ranking considering that the world’s second-largest economy has implemented measures to restrict cryptocurrency transactions.

The next three positions belong to Brazil, Philippines, and Pakistan, with the respective numbers of 17.8 million, 14.8 million, and 14.7 million people.

According to CryptoCrunchApp, this list not only highlights the leading countries in terms of the number of cryptocurrency holders, but also reflects various motivations in promoting the adoption of digital currency.

“While countries like India and Vietnam show an increase in the number of cryptocurrency owners due to strong economic growth and digital innovation, the United States demonstrates itself as a developed market and pioneers in diversifying investments and new financial solutions,” quoted from the report.
