A remarkable recovery session of the market after a steep decline last week quickly regained almost all of the lost points. The Vn-Index ended the session up 12.17 points with a beautiful breadth of 270 gainers out of 214 losers. Small and mid-cap stocks led the market recovery.

Notably, the Seafood sector saw a 6.24% increase thanks to the prospects of export recovery amid the favorable exchange rate for this group, with at least 5 stocks surging their limits such as VHC, ANV, ASM, IDI, ACL. The Chemical sector also increased by more than 3%, with DGC going up 7%, GVR up 4.54%. Securities also had a strong rise today, up 3.79%; Information Technology up 3.71%, Construction Materials up 1.16%; Oil and Gas up 1.05%; Banking up 0.92%.

Accompanying that were the top stocks leading the market today, including BID contributing 2.24 points, FPT contributing 1.28 points, GVR contributing 1.23 points; TCB, VCB, CTG adding more than 2.3 points.

The allocation of funds increased in the Securities, Agriculture & Seafood, Chemical, Retail, Logistics & Maintenance, and Information Technology sectors while decreased in the Banking, Real Estate, and Construction sectors.

In matched transactions, the proportion of trading value increased in the VNmid group while decreased in the VN30 and VNSmall groups.
