On March 1st, Gateway Hanoi – the new owner of FLC headquarters (265 Cau Giay, Hanoi) publicly introduced themselves to the public, over a year after acquiring the building.

Previously, in October 2022, FLCHomes and FLC Group Corporation signed a contract with Gateway Hanoi for the purchase of the construction works attached to the land use rights at Bamboo Airways building located at 265 Cau Giay, Dich Vong Ward, Cau Giay District, Hanoi. The selling price of the construction works is 2,000 billion VND, including value-added tax and not including the value of the sold area.

At the end of May 2023, Gateway Hanoi renamed the project into “The West” and began the process of repositioning the brand, improving services, functionality, and infrastructure.

After being acquired by Gateway Hanoi, the building formerly known as FLC headquarters was renamed The West

During the event, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Trang – Head of Leasing Department at Gateway Hanoi, shared that the company had spent nearly a year renovating and upgrading the building. The main office lobby, elevator interiors, and pantry area of the building were all upgraded. At the same time, there were tenants who had vacated without returning the floor space. However, in 2023, Gateway Hanoi completely renovated this area, ready to welcome new tenants.

The West has a strategic location in Cau Giay District – the western gateway of Hanoi and the city’s technological and economic center, gathering the headquarters of many businesses and bustling streets. The project has convenient connections to central districts, major ring roads leading to industrial zones and neighboring provinces. It also benefits from its proximity to Chua Ha Station – the urban railway line from Nhon to Hanoi Station, which is soon to be operational. The project consists of 38 floors, including office space for rent and a commercial center. The rental area of the building is approximately 25,000 m2 for office space and 15,000 m2 for retail space, catering to diverse needs of work, business, and entertainment.

With the new owner’s upgrade, The West features modern design, high-end equipment, green technology, and a 24/7 intelligent security system. The building’s automatic fire alarm and fire suppression systems comply with international standards. In addition to providing professional office space, The West offers a variety of top-quality amenities such as dining areas, fitness centers, spas, supermarkets, and cinemas.

In 2023, the building has attracted new tenants including OCB Bank, Révi café, and a gym. Gateway Hanoi is also inviting brokers to help find tenants with attractive commission rates.

During the event, a representative from Gateway Hanoi stated: “Through the brand repositioning strategy and important partner meetings program, Gateway Hanoi aims to increase the competitive advantage for The West office building, enhance the customer experience, and continue to attract more domestic and international businesses.”
