After strong fluctuations, investor sentiment stabilized, helping the market to balance. After many ups and downs, VN-Index closed the session on March 19 with a decrease of 1.1 point to 1,242 points. Matched trading volume on HOSE reached over 19,000 billion VND, a significant decrease compared to the volatile session earlier this week.

In terms of foreign trading, they continued to sell heavily on the whole market.

On HOSE, foreign investors sold net with an approximate value of 873 billion VND

In terms of purchases, VIC was the most heavily bought with a value of 195 billion VND. NKG ranked second on the list of top net buyers on HoSE with 88 billion VND. In addition, foreign investors also bought net PLX and HDC with values of 73 and 46 billion VND respectively.

On the other hand, FUEVFVND suffered the most selling pressure from foreign investors with a value of 451 billion VND, followed by SSI with 159 and 85 billion VND each. VPB and PVD were also “dumped” by foreign investors with values of 79 and 75 billion VND respectively.

On HNX, foreign investors sold net 36 billion VND

In terms of purchases, HUT was the most heavily bought with a value of 1.2 billion VND. Besides, HLC ranked second on the list of top net buyers on HNX with 0.7 billion VND. In addition, foreign investors also bought net LAS, MST, PPS with relatively small values.

On the other hand, PVS was the net selling pressure stock of foreign investors with a value of 18 billion VND; followed by SHS which was sold for about 7.3 billion VND.

On UPCOM, foreign investors sold net 10 billion VND

In terms of purchases, QNS stock was bought by foreign investors with 3.4 billion VND. Following that, KCB and MPC were also net buying with a few billion VND for each stock.
