As announced by Vincom Retail (stock code: VRE), the Board of Directors has informed that Ms. Tran Mai Hoa will be dismissed from the position of General Director from April 22. Notably, this businesswoman was newly re-assigned as the company’s CEO on March 18, and Vincom Retail will hold its 2024 annual shareholders’ meeting on April 23.
Ms. Tran Mai Hoa will still take up the position of Vincom Retail’s Vice Chairman of the Board for the term 2024-2028. This businesswoman, born in 1974, holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the National Economics University and a bachelor’s degree from the Foreign Languages University – Vietnam National University, Hanoi.
She joined Vincom Retail in 2014 as Project Management Director at Vincom Mega Mall Times City and Vincom Mega Mall Royal City. She held the position of Deputy General Director of the company from 2014 to early 2016, before being appointed as the CEO of this enterprise.
Prior to joining Vincom Retail, she served as Financial Director of Gami Corporation and held various leadership positions at An Du Data and Media Communications Joint Stock Company (Authorised Distributor of Mercedes-Benz Vietnam).

On the contrary, Ms. Pham Thi Thu Hien, Deputy General Director of Business and Marketing, will be appointed to replace Ms. Tran Mai Hoa. Previously, in October 2023, Ms. Pham Thi Thu Hien replaced Ms. Tran Mai Hoa as General Director of Vincom Retail. Since then, Ms. Tran Mai Hoa has been a member of the Board of Directors, with a role in shaping the strategic direction of Vincom Retail.
Ms. Pham Thi Thu Hien was born in 1977 and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and Banking from the Banking Academy and a Master’s degree in SME Management, with over 20 years of experience in the business sector, particularly in the real estate retail segment.
Joining Vincom Retail in 2014, Ms. Hien took on the role of Business Director managing key accounts, major customers and international customers, and then the position of Deputy General Director in charge of Business and Marketing from March 2021, before being appointed as General Director of the company.
With over 9 years of working experience at the company, Ms. Hien has made significant contributions to Vincom Retail’s pioneering journey in breaking new ground in the Vietnamese retail market, as she was the one who directly brought major international brands to the Vincom shopping mall system.
