Quảng Ngãi: Postponement of departure for 3 corporate leaders

The Quang Ngai Tax Department has announced the temporary travel ban for 3 business leaders operating in the province due to tax arrears.

On March 18, the Quang Ngai Tax Department announced that it has sent a request to the Immigration Department (Ministry of Public Security) to temporarily postpone the departure of the leaders of 3 businesses in the province due to tax arrears.

Specifically, the leaders of the 3 businesses are temporarily prohibited from leaving the country, including: Mr. Cao Xuan Chung – Director of Tan Viet Joint Stock Company, Mr. Bui Van Hung – Chairman of the Board of Directors of Quang Ngai Tourism Joint Stock Company, and Mr. Vo Van Tung – legal representative of Viet Tien Wood Processing Company.

The period of temporary departure suspension for Mr. Chung and Mr. Hung is from February 29, while Mr. Tung is suspended from leaving the country from March 13.

All three individuals were notified of the temporary departure suspension by the Quang Ngai Tax Department because they are legal representatives of the 3 businesses that are currently under administrative enforcement decisions regarding tax management and have not fulfilled their tax obligations.

Previously, at the end of February, the Quang Ngai Tax Department also sent a request to the Immigration Department to temporarily suspend the departure of the leaders of 3 businesses in the province.

Specifically, the 3 leaders of the businesses requested to temporarily suspend their departure include: Mr. Dang Le, CEO of Quang Ngai Food Joint Stock Company; Mr. Ho Nam, Director of Phu An Loc Investment and Construction One Member Co., Ltd; Mr. Le Quang Duyen, Director of Viet Sin Concrete Joint Stock Company.

The temporary departure suspension of these three business leaders was requested by the Quang Ngai Tax Department because they are legal representatives of businesses that are currently under administrative enforcement decisions regarding tax management and have not fulfilled their tax obligations.
